“When my son was having treatment at the hospital he was struggling to eat. One night all he wanted was some ketchup. When your child asks for something you will do anything to get it for them. Staying in the home from home and having the use of the kitchen was invaluable for us.” Tim, dad to Michael, diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia aged two.
Where does the money go?
£5 could pay for ketchup and other condiments available in the kitchens at our Homes from Home, as the smallest things make all the difference.
We treat all Virtual Gifts as donations to Young Lives vs Cancer and will spend the money wherever the need is greatest in ensuring that no family faces the fear of cancer alone.
